Maxxon® Commercial Level EZ™ is a hydraulic, cement-based, polymer-modified self-leveling concrete underlayment designed to smooth, cap, and level interior subfloors with minimal preparation. Once mixed and poured, it flows freely across the floor surface and self-levels at 1/4 inch, eliminating uneven areas, dips, and surface irregularities. It installs from a featheredge up to 2 inches deep, achieves 5,000–7,000 psi compressive strength, and is ready for foot traffic in as little as 2 hours making it one of the fastest self-leveling underlayments available for commercial and multi-family projects.

Maxxon® Commercial Level EZ™ is compatible with all interior subfloors including gypsum concrete (gypcrete), poured-in-place concrete, pre-cast concrete, pre-stressed concrete, and wood subfloor panels. This makes it suitable for multi-family wood-frame construction, light commercial wood-frame buildings, and commercial concrete construction and renovation. Subfloors must be structurally sound, clean, primed, and above 50°F for at least 24 hours before installation.

Maxxon® Level EZ™ is not the same as gypcrete concrete. Gypcrete (such as Maxxon's Gyp-Crete® line) is a gypsum-based underlayment, while Level EZ™ is a hydraulic, cement-based self-leveling underlayment. Level EZ™ can be poured directly over existing gypcrete concrete subfloors to smooth, resurface, or level them making it a common choice in multi-family renovation projects where the original gypcrete has been damaged, worn, or left uneven after flooring removal.

Maxxon® Commercial Level EZ™ installs from a featheredge to 2 inches (0 to 51 mm) in a single pour. For light surface smoothing and floor leveling, a 1/4-inch application covers approximately 24 sq ft per 50 lb bag. For deeper fills up to 2 inches, a single pour is still achievable without the need for a separate base fill. For applications deeper than 2 inches, contractors should contact Maxxon Corporation for guidance on multi-layer or alternative system specifications.

Maxxon® Commercial Level EZ™ is ready for foot traffic in as little as 2 hours after installation. Trade traffic including flooring installation crews and equipment is permitted 24 hours after installation. Moisture content must still be verified before installing moisture-sensitive floor coverings such as hardwood or LVP. Level EZ™'s fast return-to-service timeline significantly reduces project downtime compared to traditional concrete underlayment systems.

Its ASTM E84 fire performance shows Flame Spread of 0, Fuel Contribution of 0, and Smoke Development of 0 the highest fire safety classification. Level EZ™ is also GREENGUARD and GREENGUARD Gold Certified and supports USGBC LEED credit areas including EQ 2, EQ 4, EQ 9, and MR 3.
